The way he is handling the team's situation is as low down as it gets. He's a bum.

However, I will be in Tiger Stadium tomorrow to watch the Saints and da Bears play. The Saints are playing so poorly that I wonder if he has told his players to lay down if they want to keep their jobs.

Our station chose to watch this game. Jasuz Chreyst almighty where was the crowd? I actually enjoyed the game though. It was a tough battle marred by rookie mistakes by Orton and classic mistakes by the Saints. But for defensive play Chicago did some good things and enough to win it dispite the Orton turnovers.

It was a good game to watch, but only 32,000 showed up in a 92,000 seat stadium. Usually, teams play down to the Saints level but that was a decent football game.

Benson has apparently done what seemed impossible, killed the loyalty of the Saints fans. They (we, my first team is the Raiders though) have been loyal and stuck with this team for many lean years and are rewarded with Benson's attempt to move the team without even addressing the fans. Obviously, the team is being maneuvered to move to Los Angeles, so at least San Antonio will be denied.

The situation here is so serious that there is little time and no money to deal with Benson, so many are just saying let him go and keep the name and hope that we get a franchise in the future.

Terry Bradshaw is apparently looking into purchasing the team. That would be interesting, but I think Benson is intent on moving rather than selling.
