I...liked it? For a feud that was happening randomly with no reasoning, they turned the real story behind Brocks' lucrative return and made him into the bad guy for it. They could've done the same for Rock, but we know the crowd would've cheered for Rocky anyway.

I'll say one critical thing about it: Times like this is when Paul Heyman would've been helpful. He was a great mouth for him back in the day.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I agree, the rivalry has substance now, and it finally has some direction. My complaint is with the delivery of it. Let's face it, Brock Lesnar has never been great on the mic (which is where Paul Heyman always came in handy). Brock's delivery was rambling, and just made the whole thing fall a little flat for me.

Thought so. It appears Beth Phoenix is not injured and is just playing up a storyline. Kharma's coming back soon and they didn't want Beth to drop the title to her. So they had Nikki Bella win it and she'll get squashed by Kharma, setting up a title match between herself and Beth. Either way, I Beth did a good job acting on Monday. I bought it.

So Lesnar loses to Cena? Saw Sheamus and Punk both retained. No big surprise there

RAW was ok tonight. But I'm done watching it live for 2+ hours. Just gonna watch the one-hour version on weekends for now.

I find it weird how Punk feuded on/off with Johnny Ace since last summer, now abruptly Johnny Ace is now feuding with Cena.

EDIT - The Internet orgasmed at Punk/Bryan.

I agree with everything you just said. I have NO idea why Johnny Ace is fighting Cena. What started this "feud?" Ace vs. CM Punk I get (looks like that little angle's gone by the wayside). Even if you don't want to give John Cena a vacation, why is he feuding with the GM of Raw. He's a face. The only logical thing I can think of is they want to get more heat on Johnny?

Yea...I'm not getting the John Cena/Johnny Ace thing either. The plus side is it freed up CM Punk to start a program with Daniel Bryan.

true, i will love this feud if it continues up to summerslam. i wonder if cena will win one more title though...he is at 10, 6 less than flair's historic number.

I don't watch wrestling any more, the last time I did consistently it was still called the WWF. Recently I did catch an episode and wanted to ask current wrestling fans a question: Is wrestling not as good as it was in the 90s?
I used to watch in the 90s, mostly about 97 onwards, and it seemed to be a great time, Stone cold, the Rock, Mankind and the rivalries between Vince Mchmahon and various wrestlers (usually stone cold).
I think I gave up on it when it became so ridiculous, I think the moment was where Mark Henry I think had relations with an old women resulting in a hand being born, that was when I moved to watching boxing lol.

if I remember right I started watching a little bit before the 'Invasion' angle with WCW/ECW. the wrestling was great, so was the characters, and the storylines. then a lot of things changed after stone cold, rock left. cena, batista, randy orton, and brock lesnar were left to carry the wwe. lesnar screwed vince and the wwe....because of this vince won't overly push any younger talent either for awhile or none at all. batista took over after lesnar's depature, but he didn't have the talent that lesnar had. anyway's though after good ol' jr stepped down from vp of talent relations, johnny ace took over (no true superstar yet). the booking/story lines are terrible as well because the writers have to check in with vince, and sometimes vince will want something re-written before the show starts. pretty much triple h might be the savior of wwe because vince isn't helping matter's with the product shown on tv.

No. The mid to late 1990s was the golden age of wrestling in my opinion. The Rock, Stone Cold, DX, WWF, WCW, nWo, Goldberg, etc.

Heyman still knows how to work the mic, and yea WWE really needs to stop going to certain states...just terrible for the live show.

Does Shane ever wrestle now? Remember he had a crew in the late 90s, who lost like every match lol.
