Here's a really good CM Punk interview on Wrestling with Rosenberg:

"Growing up my dad was like 'You have a great last name, Galifianakis. Galifianakis...begins with a gal...and ends with a kiss...' I'm like that's great dad, can we get it changed to 'Galifianafuck' please?" -- Zach Galifianakis

WOW! Cena has completely OWNED The Rock for the past two weeks. I didn't think this would be possible!

Yeah, the promos the past 2 weeks have been very interesting. As much as I hate this whole, PG, watered down WWE compared to the Attitude Era, I like the "shoot" interviews and IMO, it all started with C.M. Punk last year on Cena/HHH. Makes for exciting TV.

I think Cena's opening promo, although shorter, was better than the Rock's. Man these guys have been bringing it to each other the past couple of weeks.

In retrospect, Cena shouldn't have bothered with that retro get-up but I gotta agree with you Irish.

Anybody else surprised how Cena/Rock hasn't gotten the mainstream attention and press that maybe WWE had expected? This week's Raw rating was 3.27, last week a 3.25.

I love Kayfabe tweeting. CM Punk after Jericho's "revelation" last night.

Yea, Cena has had Rock for the past 3 weeks, and it doesn't look to be letting up. Rock's concert was funny, but again...it was all written down and prepared. Any resorting to "mama jokes"...as the Miz would say...really...REALLY...really?

If I were a booker, the only logical outcome for their match at WM is for Cena to go over, and go over clean. Yes, Rock is Mr. Untouchable, and they're paying him a ton of money to do this, but he'll be gone after WM, and Cena will still be here. A win over Rock would elevate Cena to an all-new level, and may even be a jumping off point for (hopefully) a character change. Who knows with these things, though...

Now that the build is over, I can't say I expect a big number for Wrestlemania.

Yes, Rock vs. Cena is intriguing, but they're feuding over who can rank each other out. Not sure that sells PPV.

I actually think it'll do well, at least on the level of last year's WM PPV. Even if to be quite frankly honest, I can't give a shit about Cena/Rock. Both have delivered good promos (in varying degrees) but the whole "feud" has been boiled down to two divas bitching at each other for being a bitch.

I would be shocked if Rock went over. He doesn't need the win, of course would Cena "need" it either?

Overall this is actually a pretty strong WM card.

I'm most intrigued, in smark wrestling mechanics, the Punk/Jericho match which I'm sure is expected by about everybody to be the best match of the night. I even liked last week with Jericho's promo. "But your sister..." You son of a bitch heel! Punk retains I assume.

Too bad the WWE title match is obscured by Cena/Rock and Taker/Trips. But I'm sure Taker/Trips will be pretty good, even if we all know Taker is winning. (Though I've enjoyed the whole Shawn Michaels teasing which combatant he might betray.)

Sheamus/Bryan should be fun, and I can't decide who'll win. I've enjoyed Bryan as a pseudo-blend of righteous dick Punk and obnoxiously dork Kurt Angle. And I've even come around to Sheamus after the crowds demanded that he turn "face" and he somewhat reminds of a Lex Luger.

Orton/Kane is one of those TV main events that somehow snuck onto the biggest PPV, but it won't be offensively bad. I don't expect much from Cody Rhodes and Big Show, though I'm assuming Cody retains his IC title since I actually do see him as a future main eventer down the road.

Team Johnny and Team Teddy I couldn't care less. I predict Johnny Ace wins, since booking wise it make perfect sense that as Punk prevails and keeps his WWE title, his archnemesis grows stronger and more powerful backstage.

Divas match? Like everybody else, including WWE management, I'll reply with two words: Piss Break.

I'm ordering WM.

HHH vs. Taker is by far most intriguing.

Rock vs. Cena is huge but I don't like the build up.

I had a ticket but sold it because I didn't think I would like WM in a stadium. I feel it's better watching at home. But I do love going to the arenas.

Bryan is awesome but I can't figure out why being a vegan is used to develop his heel persona. I think vegans are babyfaces.
Orton's star has dimmed. He should take a year or so off.

Not very impressed with the WrestleMania card. The only match I have a little interest in is the Cena/Rock match. We ALL know Taker's beating HHH, so why bother? Punk and Jericho I felt could have been given more TV time. And what was with Jericho not being in the arena lately and just doing promos from the Titan Tron? The Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy has been given WAY to much TV time in recent weeks. As it currently stands it looks like only 8 matches are suppose to fill up a 3/4 hour PPV. Good luck there guys. Wondering what fill matches they'll have.

The crowd went absolutely ape shit when Brock's music hit. He's lost quite a bit of weight since his WWE days, but he is as intense as ever. The F5 on Cena was absolutely priceless. I don't know how many people remember it, but one of Cena's first big programs was with Brock Lesnar back in '03 or '04. Brock F5'd Cena into the ring post, "busting" his kneecap. Cena came up with the "F-U" as an "f-u" to Lesnar.

I watched Wrestlemania at a friend's house on Sunday. Taker/HHH stole the show, as expected, Rock/Cena was awesome if for nothing more than the spectacle, and Sheamus/D-Bry was the biggest insult I think I have ever seen. The only consolation (and it's a big one) is that D-Bry is more over with the fans than anyone in the WWE right now. He may have been dealt a shitty hand at WM, but his stock has risen tremendously because of it.

I also feel bad for Sheamus. He just went out there and did what he was told, and he's getting a TON of heat for it. Oh well, I like Sheamus better as a heel anyway.

I thought the same thing. His arms didn't look as big but I guess that's what happens when you cut the juice out. Either way, I'm ecstatic he's back. The WWE needs him right now! I can't wait to see him wrestle again. I heard his contract is only for a year with a minimum of 30-35 appearances during that time. He should be on TV at least twice per month and more leading up to next year's WrestleMania.

It'll be great seeing Brock back on a semi-regular basis.

Speaking of which, was I the only one annoyed by Rock's claim to one day be WWE Champion again? Rock is scheduled to appear at WM next year, but how often will he be on television between now and then? Will he be on TV as often as he was between WM 27 and 28? If so, he has no business making claims like that. He isn't a full-time wrestler, there's no way he's going to commit to the grueling schedule of a full-time WWE Superstar. Yes, I know that Rocky has put in his time and has "done it all" in the WWE, and he has nothing else to prove. But that doesn't give him the right to lay claim to another WWE title reign, especially when there are so many more deserving Superstars waiting in line for that opportunity. If VKM and the higher-ups actually consider putting the World title on Rocky with his current (lack of) commitment to the WWE, it'd be a slap in the face to the smarks and true wrestling fans. And I, for one, would never watch pro-wrestling again.

I agree. I don't know how he's going to pull that off. Maybe that was his intention. Get people thinking about it and nothing more at this point? He's NOT coming back full-time. He may come back for a small amount of time like he's done recently, but I don't see him putting his movie career on hold to return to the WWE.

What I find interesting about Brock returning is that it happened within 48 hours of Overeem getting busted for taking steroids.

I figured with that steroid test failure, it would allow Brock to save face and get one more shot at UFC. I guess Brock just gave up.

I suppose Vince' money for what amounts to a 1 year contract, with two TV appearances a month*, was too good to pass up.

As for Mr. Rocky going after the WWE title, oh come on I love that. Imagine a promo duel between him and Punk? "Whoopee you beat Cena at a PPV. I beat him too. Twice!"

*=If the smark reports are accurate, if WWE wants Brock to appear on TV more than twice a month, they have to negotiate with him, i.e. pay more per extra date. Shit I can see why Brock signed that contract.

EDIT - oh and YES! YES! YES! YES!

That 3 Stooges bit was TERRIBLE. Why do I have a feeling that WWE will be making fun of that in a few years? In some gag reel of HORRIBLE guest stars that have absolutely NO business being in a WWE ring.

Wow, looks like Beth Phoenix injured herself last night. Freakish thing, hoping off the apron to the floor, she injured her ankle

Was anyone else chanting "BORING! BORING! BORING!" during the Johnny Ace/Brock Lesnar segment last night? I know I was. Lesnar just rambled on for 10 minutes, making himself look more like a prima donna than a beast. I'm sure that's what they were going for, but the whole segment was dull.

On a better note: EDGE!!!
