Irishman,

I heard Stacy is going to be on the reality show that has the Celebrity Dance competition. I don't remember what the show is called though, sorry.

How about HHH not in the elimination chamber match??! He has taken himself outta the championship pitcure for now. Good for him. I think he is one of the top 3 inthe wwf, but its nice to see he is giving others a chance for now.
Of course, i dont doubt he will be in the main event at WM.

Yeah I REALLY can't believe HHH lost on Monday. I thought for sure he would have won (like he always does). We know he's the best wrestler in the world today but it's nice to see other people win for a change. Is RVD on Smackdown? What about Benoit?

Benoit is on Smackdown, I think RVD is done with WWE that or he is injured.

HHH is not the best, he's the best wrestler banging Vince's daughter

I'm glad Angle made it into the chamber. Angle is the best in the business, bar none (followed close by Benoit. God knows what the hell SmackDown! is thinking  ).

Triple H is awesome, though. You really can't appreciate his ability until you see him in person. He's a machine.

I can say the same for Angle, as well. Angle is like a pit bull when he gets in that ring.

I'm also glad to see that Carlito and Chris Masters made it. I'm a big Carlito fan. I just wish they'd give this guy a finishing move.

On another note. I'm upset that Ken Kennedy (from SmackDown!) has been sidelined with an injury. According to WWE.com, he was a complete lat tear. He was quickly becoming my favorite on SmackDown!

"Mistuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........Kennedaaaaaaaaay.............Kennedaaay ."

What is it with this Shelton Benjamin? Is he a joke or what If he would've pinned Carlito when he had the chance, he would've made the chamber match. I can't wait till Monday night to see Raw with the troops. Do you think Dusty Rhodes or even Hulk Hogan will be the GM for Raw? Who do you think will win Hell in A Cell Undertaker or Orton? Orton won't have his daddy to help him out. I think Undertaker will win. Or at least I hope so.

Did you guys know that Carlito's father is legend Carlos Colon? He is a legend in Puerto Rico, and had many, many bloodbaths with Bruiser Brody. He rarely wrestled in North America though. He did appear on the first Starrcade card, 1983, and fought Abdullah the Butcher (another bloodbath, but then again all matches with Abdullah were bloodbaths!)

Just saw Smackdown. One thing I really can't stand about the WWE, I don't know/recognize half of the wrestlers. They're all new to me. I'm gonna try to watch TNA Wrestling tomorrow night

Just watched my first TNA show. It's only an hour long and I liked it. I knew some wrestlers and you could tell it's nowhere near the level of WWE but it is a nice alternative. If you have the time, check it out next Saturday night on Spike at 11 PM EST.

Yea Smitty it was great. It seemed like they really cared about the troops. I hope it wasn't just for ratings.

BTW DMC- I liked Trish's outfit.

Would somebody mind updating me on some of the storylines (both major and minor) for Raw and Smackdown!? I'm trying to get back into wrestling and I was wondering if y'all could give me a brief summary of the feuds and storylines that have been going for the last year? Or at least who the major players are now, comings/goings, etc.

That would kick ass.

Best,
DJ

I feel the same way DJ but I'm just trying to pick up what I missed. Too many new faces for me (plus I barely see Benoit & RVD) I would suggest watching TNA Wrestling on Saturday nights on Spike TV at 11 PM EST too

What ever happened to the Tough Enough people? Anyone remember Maven and that other skanky chick and Chris Harvard or whatever his name was? What even happened to them/that show?

Also, wtf is up with Tazz, why doesn't he wrestle anymore?

You mean it's fake

The only storyline that comes to mind is the Undertaker vs randy orton feud, they are going back and forth because Randy is the "legend killer" and Undertaker is a "Legend". Besides that I really don't know of any true storylines going on right now. Mig might know

Let's see if I can help ya out.

On RAW:

-- It seems that they are starting a rivalry between Triple H and the Big Show. The Big Show was highly pissed off at HHH after the beating he gave Ric Flair at the last PPV. So Show said that HHH would get what was coming to him real soon. Now that both HHH and Show are disqualified from the Elimination Chamber match, expect those two to have a one-on-one match at the PPV.

-- Kurt Angle has two ongoing rivalries: one with HBK, the other with Mark Wahlberg...er...excuse me, John Cena. His beef with Michaels stems all the way back to last year's Royal Rumble, when Michaels eliminated Angle. They had a match at Wrestlemania 21, where Angle made Michaels tap to the Ankle Lock. They had another match at some other PPV where Michaels beat him. They had a "rubber match" soon thereafter. They fought to a draw in a 30-minute Ironman Match.

Angle's beef with Cena is pretty simple. He wants the title, and he doesn't like the way Cena portrays the company as their top man.

-- Edge doesn't get along with anybody except Lita. He won a match back at WM21 called the "Money in the Bank Ladder Match." The winner of the match was guaranteed a title shot within a year. That's why he carries the briefcase around with him everywhere he goes.

-- Big Show and Kane had a rivalry going on with SmackDown's Rey Mysterio and Batista, but that ended at the last SmackDown PPV.

That's all I can think of for RAW. Somebody else can add more. Now onto SmackDown!

-- The Boogeyman is some weirdo, Papa Shango wannabe who eats worms and scares the sh*t out of his opponents.

-- There is currently no one in the title race on SmackDown!, as Batista (the champ) is injured, and so they only really have him competing in tag matches.

-- The rivalry between Randy Orton and Undertaker just ended last Sunday at Armageddon (presumably anyway), when Taker defeated Orton in a Hell in a Cell match.

-- Bobby Lashley is currently running through the entire SmackDown! lockerroom. This guy is a beast!

I'm probably forgetting a whole bunch of stuff. I'm sure Mig or DMC will be able to further elaborate.

Bobby Lashley is a monster! I just saw him on Smackdown last Friday and he's VERY scary. A black Goldberg perhaps? Has RVD been injuried the past year with his knee!?

I thought RVD left WWE

Lashley is great, it seems like WWE is going back to the Hogan, Warrior days of the big buff guys. (Not the Steve Austins and Undertakers)
