with the World Cup for baseball finally set for a 2006 standing ovation, I figured that what this world needs to unite behind for the sake of combat and sportsmanship is......a WORLD DRINKING CUP.

Take the best beer drinkers from nations around the world, and square off in intense drinking games in a remote Tibetan bar. Who would prevail?

Would the Italians, Irish, Germans, or English burst through and stand tall as the drunken conquering hoardes of Europe before they take on the world? Would the legendary beer-gut Russian Bears come out of habitation to roar once again?

Better yet, do the Americans have a chance of winning it all?
