Of course the safe answers would be to say USA, but with the growing percentage of MLB players coming outside of the US, it will be an interesting Cup. I mean imagine the Japanese squad with Ichiro and Matsui, the Dominican Republican team including people like Sammy Sosa, Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez, and many more. Not to mention possibly teams like Cuba, South Korea, Taiwan, Panama, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Australia, etc. Post your thoughts or keep trying to spread baseball in Europe, whatever futile actions fit you best.

Yeah, who was playing?
From what I understand, the World Cup of baseball will be reprsented from the US by the World Series winners that year.
