The game begins with the start of the NBA regular season, on November 2, 2004.

HOW TO PLAY

Select your team of five NBA players and a coach and accumulate points according to each players performance. Your players points will be determined by the following formula:

(PTS + REB + AST + STL + BLK) - ((FGA - FGM) + (FTA - FTM) + TO)

In this formula, PTS = points scored, REB = total rebounds, AST = assists, STL = steals, BLK = blocked shots, FGA = field goals attempted, FGM = field goals made, FTA = free throws attempted, FTM = free throws made and TO = turnovers. In addition, your head coach will earn you 5 points for each game his or her team wins.

Actually I looked HERE first and it showed me #2... dammit!

How do I end up in the 99.1% percentile, same as Pork, and Plaw is in the 99.5% percentile while he's only 65 points above me and I'm nearly 800 points higher than Pork??

EDIT: It's probably the percentiles for the playoffs.

I'm guessing that the %iles are based on the Post Season (the last "round") and not the overall total...

I don't like the way they have the site set up.

More importantly, you hadda pick a team first in order to join a league, so I just picked the top guys at every postion.

I wound up going 3.0 over the cap, and unless I missed it, didn't (and don't) see a warning.

I didn't see a "warning" either, but noticed that the team value ("locked") was in red instead of green.
