We got plastered last night, 49 - 6.

It was 42 - 6 at halftime, so there was a running clock for the entire 2nd half. The coaches put the JV guys in the 4th quarter.

We faced one of the best RBs in PA. He has offers from Pitt, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame. He torched us last night. Me and the safety had most of the tackles (pretty sad for a CB and S to lead the team in tackles). I also had 5 or 6 catches, but that's because we passed a lot.

I was so depressed last night after the game, that I didn't even want to "hang-out" with my gf.

This slightly favors FC, but Vick was expendable to Plaw and he gets a major upgrade in WR.

Trade 2:
RB giving Matt Hasselback (QB, Seahawks) and Peter Warrick (WR, Bungles)

IM giving Eddie George (RB, Cowboys). IM will release Billy Cundiff (K, Cowboys) to make a roster spot.

4 words... Are you kidding me?
Regarding the PL and FC trade. I think PL gets the better of it because if he can make any trade that gives him some value for that 'stiff' Michael Vick, more power to him. :p

Regarding the second trade, I will just say that I don't understand a lot of what goes on in this league. I cannot see why RB would give up a very very good QB and a decent #2 WR to get a RB who is not even the projected long term starter -J. Jones is, plus they have that kid Lee in the mix now.

I think it is a horrible trade for RB, he gets little value but a great move for the Devils. But whatever - I won't veto it, if they both think it is a fair trade .....

This is how I justify the trade. I am in desperate need of a running back. My second best is Ron Dayne. Let that show my dire need. I have a very very good QB, and 4 WR's who are better than Warrick. I dont need Hasselback and Warrick. However, I need a RB. I tried to find a team who could have used a QB as good as Hasselback, so I identified one and offered the trade. Granted, I wanted a little better than George, but I will take him.

Somebody picked Kyle Boller?

My nephew's high school team could sack him.

I hate Kyle Boller. He's the reason The Ravens will be 1-15 this year.

Some guy wanted to trade me in my league Emmit Smith and Keanon McCardel (the guy who isnt playing) For McNabb and Terrel Owens.........THEN when I rejected it he wanted to trade smith, McCardel and D Flutie for McNabb, Owens, and Randy Moss........

I hate this focking game.

Another player of mine gives me a -2 this week -- Deuce McAllister of all people! Big fat ZILTCH from Boo Williams.

After the early Sunday games, I'm 15 pts behind The Devils, and he still has Randy Moss tomorrow night. Looks like I'll be 0-2.

Woh I might actually be 1-1 after this week. Course having to beat our Don, might not be a good way of going 1-1.

I hope Moss eats some bad seafood before the game or something :p

I am COUNTING on it!!

Should be a good Monday night game!

I lost in one of my other leagues, no thanks to your Mister McAllister, Pork!

Of course I wouldn't need the 16+ if I had played half the guys on my bench!

That Vick trade looks a good one after last night. He rushed for over 100 yards. Although it's still risky, if he keeps that up the chances of him getting injured again increases. Surely Mora wants to keep him healthy and cut down on his scrambling, I thought the new offense was about quick release.

Oh and Winslow, where's that "soldier" talk now?

Maybe you should fear me. It's a shame we have to wait until week 11 to face each other.

Here's a couple of things I know are true:

Our Gangster BB league will NEVER be known as Gangster BDD league.

Douche Bigalow still has a chance in this league, just not this year.

The underdog Brit Turi could well be the Panthers of this season.

And I'm Turi Giuliano, please remember to watch me on the Yahoo Fantasy league thread only on the Gangster BB.

I havent looked at your team, but if you say they are good, then Im sure your telling the truth. But heres something you maybe havent considered. All my players are on teams that will most likely make the playoffs. So come week 11, they will be trying like to hell to get that wild card, or the divisional title, or the first round bye. Im confident that things will only get better towards the end of the season.

Top 10 Things I think - ala Peter King and our own Don Sicilia.

1. This friggin game BLOWS!!! Not only do I lose to BB (Brit Boy) :p but he proceeds to kick my ass in the process. I bow before thee. 24 points in a point centric league, I hang my head in shame. At least I was able to have some fun talking some ‘stick’ with Turi though – unlike the previous week.

2. FYI – Regarding the BB being down yesterday actually that was me putting a DOS attack on the website. I couldn’t stand going to the BB on Monday being 0-2.

3. LDV wins the Survivor pool in ONLY the second week – how pathetic are we ? I can only hope she represents the Survivor Champion as well as I did during my reign.

4. And speaking of Survivor Pools it seems that MC won the other won. Props out to that win. But you didn’t see MC boasting of his win like LDV did. I can only assume MC is a bit more secure in his masculinity that LDV.

5. And what is up with PL, the big WUSS. I see he invited someone new into the baseball game with only 2 weeks to go BUT he locks the Football Pickem Game at week 1? What is that all about ?And to top it off he lets some ‘newbie’ in, and keeps the crusty old veterans out of games. Just so I am clear - he opens the door to guys to play but he keeps it locked for the chicks .

6. The Eagles are looking real good this year – got the offense moving now. There is a bit of room on the bandwagon if you want - let me know I'll save you some room.

7. I don’t remember as many injuries to key players in the first few games and preseason as much as I have seen this year.

8. Next week is the big Fantasy Football Super Bowl rematch from last year, me against the guy that calls himself Pork. Get your tickets early for this one. Personally my team is relaxed for that game – they see it the same as playing a bye. A glorified scrimmage

9. Commissioner Welsher – I just want to say that I am very disappointed in that we make a bet and you are not man enough to honor it. Wussy.

10. And speaking of Commissioner Welsher – how ironic was it that he lost the Survival pool by going AGAINST his beloved Bears. You never and I mean NEVER vote against the home team. Never take sides with anyone outside the family - you should know that. Of course I think it is riot.

As you were Peeps

Question...

The rankings that are listed on the League home page. Are they based on points scored or other things as well?

W-L record first. The first tiebreaker is points scored, so everyone who is 2-0 is listed in that order.

Expect 0 and 3. I'm not scoring as many points as I'd hoped but still I should do better than your weak team.

It's first based on record, then it goes to points.

I don't think your win over BDD should count. You have to get wins against REAL teams! :p
