Did anyone catch it last night? I thought Jamie Foxx proved again to be a great host with his comedy and his 2nd version of the "Would You Be My Tennis Ball?" serenade to Serena Williams. There was a great tribute to Pat Tillman and George Weah that made the night complete. All the award winners were very deserving, and I thought that ESPN did a great job with the whole show. Any thoughts?

Im glad Detroit got best team, no respect to the other nominees.

And I wouldve given Jake Delhome breakthrough atlete over Bron. He made it to his leauges championship game.

I also dont like a cyclist winning best athlete but oh well

I'm glad the Detroit Pistons were the great winners of the ESPY awards. 3 awards, including best team. GO PISTONS!

Tom Cruise was very good and sincere talking about Pat Tillman.

They should've given best game to the little league team. They were all there. That ESPY would've meant a lot more to them then it did to the Patriots. Tom Brady must agree with me, because he even mentioned them in the acceptance speech.

Unfortunately in the case of LL team, the fans vote. The Little Leaguers embody the joy of sports. Their game was truly remarkable under the amateur spotlight. The sports world does need to recognize amateur sports more and put less emphasis on the $$$$$ sports.
