finally, it is almost done. I've been inside the "details" for a while and I thought there was still a lot of talking to be done, but after reading this , I think it will be announced until wednesday.

in my humble opinion, the Magic is doing shit. again.

McGrady is overrated. Sure he is a good player, but he can't carry a team on his back. Steve Francis would be better for Dwight Howard. Although if they get Francis, that'll be bad for my boy Jameer.

How is McGrady overrated?
I think most would put him at 3rd to 5th best in the L which is about right.
Do you realize how bad the Magic are? They dont have a point guard or a servicable center. Their second best player has been injured the last 4 seasons. There next two best players arent even that good, and they play the same position. How far would Kobe have got that team? Maybe a little better, maybe a little worse but they wouldnt have been close to playoffs
McGrady still manages to lead the leauge in scoring, shooting a better percentage then Kobe Bryant, working against double teams the full 48 minutes, and with a nagging back injury this season nonetheless.
Unless you are Michael Jordan or a top 3 big man you arent good enough to get a team like that into the playoffs.

But McGrady has been in the playoffs before and done nothing. Remember when he said how good it felt to be in the second round while the Magic were still in the first round against the Pistons? They blew a 3-1 series lead.

He is overrated, but he is still a good player.

If an eight seed can get 3 wins against a one seed, thats very impressive. Maybe the Magic tanked but Tmac certainly did not. Guy played his ass off.
Shaq avg 27 on 63% shooting in the Finals and the Lakers lost. I wouldnt say its because Shaq wasnt leading his team...his team just couldnt follow.
Tracy McGrady does everything Kobe does with the exception of clutch shooting. Thats why on my list, he sits just below Kobe. Can you name a player better then him that isnt Duncan, Garnett, Kobe or Shaq? I cant think of one. Jermaine is close....and thats basically the entire elite class of current players

Might be a smart move by the Magic. McGrady is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. That's why Indy wouldn't take him. -Pat

great. I don't know if this is a good deal for these teams, but as I don't root for them, I don't care. I just like to see a blockbuster trade to make some off-season action.

Do you know how unstoppable T-Mac and Yao will be? It's the next Kobe and Shaq! Their combined percentages this season was only second to Kobe and Shaq. Isn't Juwan Howard, Tyronn Lue involved in the trade too? This is really great for my hometown .
