Can you tell us how to get the transaction log posted directly from the site like you did with the baseball standings above?

DB: It takes me about 5 minutes to do the scores every morning.

I go to the site, write down everyone's total, and then go to each individual and get his V. Avg for the day.

Then I go to our thread, Copy the previous day's standings into a new post, delete everything for each individual except his previous score and V. Avg, subtract his new total from his previous total (mentally) to obtain his score for the day, figure out (mentally) his +/- for his V. Avg, and then type in his new total and V. Avg for the day.

As far as the infrequent visitors go, there's no rush. Whenever they submit their transaction log, I'll credit them with the points. If they never do, then they wont get the points. I guess I'll send them all a PM, but I would like it a lot better if JG would tell us how he got info directly from the site in his post. Then we'll just make sure everyone has the instructions.

The image? I would hit the Print Screen button on my keyboard, which saves your screen into memory (your clipboard). You can then Paste that picture into an image-editing program (like Paint I would imagine; I used Photoshop). You crop it to show only what you need to show, then upload it to a webserver and use that address to link to it.

You just have to promise me you'll use a calculator when computing scores from Feb 29. Cuz neither "mentally" nor physically is 100 minus 109.9 equal to 2.1 :p

I really don't think everyone needs to post a screen capture of their transaction log. As long as they get the correct log (see the screen shot I just posted), and copy/paste what's there into a message here. That's all.

OK, I did the print screen thing. Now I have the pic from the screen I wanted, and it's pasted into a word dic and still on my clipboard.

Now, how do i get it into a post?

To All Fantasy Basketball League Members:

As you probably noticed, the ESPN site was screwed up on Sunday, February 29th, because apparently they didn’t allow for leap year.

ESPN has decided that Sunday, February 29th, will not count; however after much discussion in our thread, we decided to count the scores for that day in our league.

If you participated in the game for that day by picking a team, and you wish to have your score counted, you must do the following:

· Go to the ESPN website for the game, go to the “Home Page” for your team, and click on “Transaction Log”

· Use the drop down boxes for “Start Date” and “End Date”, and select February 28th as both.

· Then click on “Update”. This should give you all of the player transactions you made on February 28th to pick your team for February 29th.

· Highlight your February 28th transactions, and then copy and paste them into an MS Word document.

· Then copy it from the Word Doc into a post on the Fantasy Basketball Thread.

· From the transaction log for February 28th which you post, we will be able to determine who was on your team on February 29th. We will then be able to determine your score for that day, and add it to your total.

LE, TM, PP, and SP were both e-mailed and PMd.

Starting tomorrow morning, I'll start a column in the standings that will reflect the adjusted scores as we receive everyone's info.

Boy, there's a lot more work to being a commissioner than I thought.
