I had 2 players who didn't play last night and I still beat Geoff? I must have a horseshoe up my butt or something.

Thanks for the stat, Plaw. Now I'm positive I'll contend next half.

I had 2 players missing, too

As for that lucky horseshoe... if there weren't kiddies here, I'd ask you where the other half of that U is...

I'm alright Crabby. Really busy with work... that's why I haven't posting much. Not that I would gloat that I've been scoring more than plaw the last couple of days. I wouldn't do that!

You. Busy at work? Why am I not surprised!

Gloat away Douchey. He claims nothing would keep him from his fantasy basketball league. Obviously something has. :p

Guess I'm back in 4th tomorrow - and I deserve it.

PL - See what happens when you pick obscure players hoping they'll really break out so you can gain even more points on those below you? Of course you do (after tonight ) : Nothing. That's exactly what I've been trying to do the past couple weeks, and look where it's put me!

Ugh.

Tag! I'm IT I guess. This see-sawing back and forth with Geoff is getting me dizzy. Hey, Geoff, be a pal and let me stay here for awhile. I need a rest. :p

Just caught that Byron Scott was just fired and a guy named Lawrence was promoted to head coach...

For a minute there, I thought plaw was the new head coach of the Nets!

Yeah, they offered me the job but I told 'em I was too busy in a fantasy league trying to hold off some guy named Douche Bigelow.

I told them "maybe next year", so they gave the job on an "interim" basis to an assistant coach, Lawrence Frank.

You should have taken the job, plaw... Fixing the Brooklyn/New Jersey Nets might prove to be easier than holding me off!

Yep, I pretty much guaranteed that Andre Miller will have a 40 point night tonight.

I don't really care what Andre Miller gets tonight, as long as it's more than

I don't think he can play fantasy next year and coach at the same time... unless he wants to get into trouble ala Pete Rose.

I can see it now... PLAW: My Prison Without Bars

I think pee-law will just make another deal with the devil to get away with it.

See Fantasy Baseball thread...

Plaw was commonly referred to as !

Bethie, what was it for the first time... Winning the first half of baseball or getting Jason Kidd to resign with the Nets...

I think his deal basically was to have the Nets win the Championship. When that didn't happen I think his deal was to become baseball champion. I think he's got a season pass with the Devil myself.

I don't even remember myself what the deal was

I'd have to look it up.

It was either the Nets win the NBA Championship, or re-sign Kidd, probaby the latter, in exchange for me not winning the second half of baseball.

Please do. We could use some fresh blood.

Practice now until the All Star break. Then the game starts again for the second half, with everyone at zero.

Here's the link:

http://games.espn.go.com/vgm/frontpage

If you have any problems registering, give a yell. Remember, you have to select your roster by 3:00 AM Eastern time.

Good luck.

What a shocker getting 24 points from Stoudamire. He was just a cheap throw in. Now, if only my other guys would step up to the plate.
