I loved MVP when they had the baseball games for MLB...damn fucking license purchasing. NFL fucked it up for everyone, then MLB followed. What the fuck, they didn't like people having the choice to buy one of three football games, so they seek out EA to screw the consumer? It's retarded, since the people who play 2K (many, at least) refuse to play Madden anyways. I was extremely disappointed in Madden 2006 after the forced comeover from NFL 2K5, and let's say the only way I'll buy Madden this year is for the Wii, simply for the new controls. Seriously...the 2K series and MVP MLB baseball were the best...why couldn't they just leave well enough alone? Although, I will say - I don't dislike MLB 2K6, but it needs some improvements. The payoff pitching system is kind of pointless, imo, because you cannot specify the target exactly where you want, only vaguely "outside" or "inside" and the pitch spots are far too close the strike zone to make anyone consider using it. I do like the idea of pitching with the break points, that's cool. Now if they could fix shitty baserunning and some questionable fielding, it would be a great baseball sim.

I don't know what' the matter with me, if I have a mental block or something, but I just can't play this game. I NEVER get a hit yet I don't know how to locate my pitches. they are all balls, or the guy hits a homerun. I'm the king of wild pitches and my ERA is infinite.
