What ever happened to Cicci after the hearings? Did he go to jail. Since he broke Omerta, he would have to have been killed.

We never learn what happened to Cicci. There was no official Witness Protection Program at the time (ca. 1959). It's possible that, since he was a Senate hearing witness, he might have been able to cut a deal with the FBI, through the Senate (and Questad, who "belongs to Roth") to either escape prosecution and fend for himself by changing his name and tryng to hide; or to serve a jail sentence in some "protected" wing of a Federal prison, as did Valachi after his testimony. I doubt that Cicci was "big" enough to merit being kept in relatively comfortable circumstances for the rest of his life, as arranged for Pentangeli.

The Corleone Family Chart? I noticed there are few errors. The FBI could not have made that chart without the help of Cicci's testimony.

Cicci must have thought of Fredo as Underboss and Tom Hagen still a Consigliere. Franky, Rocco and Neri were listed as Caporegimes.

Willie Cicci didn't go into the official witness protection program, but one he invented. He moved to Philadelphia and is seen in "Rocky" where he appears as Mr. Gazza, a small-time loan shark. wink

Ah Ha, finally a subject that I am a expert in tongue

Rocky was supposed to be from South Philly, but a most of the scenes were filmed in a section of Philly know as "Kensington", which is basically in North Philly. We have a South Philly, a North Philly, and a West Philly, but no East Philly.

His apartment exterior was in Kensington on a small street called Tusculum. The pet shop, gym exterior, the bar where he picked up the drunk outside and Paulies house were also in Kensington, all real close to each other. Some of the scenes in South Philly were when he got the girl away from the boys and gave her a talking too, also the church where he got the blessing from the priest. The shot with him eating a Philly Cheesesteak with Willie Cicci tongue was at Pat's Steaks in South Philly [Where the Philly Cheesesteak was first introduced in the 30's]. Theres a plaque in the pavement where he and Willie ate.

The running scene through the street vendors was a section of South Philly known as "The Italian Market", some of the other scenes took place in center city Philadelphia ending up the Art Museum steps. The fight scenes were shot in the Spectrum, which at the time was the home to the Flyers and 76ers.

Little bit of Trivia for you, Rockys robe was the color of Slyvesters high school when he lived in Philly [Lincoln High School].

Its been awhile since I saw the film, but they are the main scenes. If you have any more you would like to know about, just ask. cool
