They did mention that characters from the previous games will make cameo appearances. Maybe there will be a cameo by Tommy Vercetti. Hell, in GTA3, Phil Cassidy makes an appearance, and in Vice City, he's a full blown character.

Man if only you could joing the mafia... lol. That's something it needs. Choice of gang. Or at least the gang respect meter from the older games.

I agree. If there is one edge the older PS1 GTA's have on the latest ones, its the gang respect meter. It took skill to keep yourself neutral on all turfs. Now you dont even have that oppurtunity.
