when The Godfather DVD collection is coming out in New Zealand? Even if I got the Zone 1 version, I wouldn't be able to play it as our DVDs are Zone 4. If anyone has any idea when it will be released here, I'll love you for life!

New Zealand was supposed to be released October 9th, too, according to Paramount's International Release Dates .

If it wasn't, then I don't know - sorry... but I would imagine it'll be soon.

I have been waiting in Australia for The Godfather Trilogy DVDS too. They have been reviewed by all the major magazines and newpapers in the country as being the greatest thing ever to happen to DVD, but I have not found one single copy in any of the major stores I've searched in. When I enquired about the Trilogy, the people behind the desk said they didn't have a clue what I was on about - one girl even spat out "The Godfather? Never heard of it?

I went into a bookstore yesterday to ask about the Godfather DVDs and lo and behold - I find them. $NZ179.99 thank you very much. Apparently, the DVDs were released in New Zealand on 12 Octber so I should imagine they would've come out in Australia around the same time. smile

I'm in Australia too and I've had the DVD's since the middle of October. I think my dad bought them for me from the video store, so it's worth checking there. Also, I've seen them in K-Mart and Target and I think Big W too.

Does anyone remember a scene directly after Tom calls the undertaker and before the Don arrives at the funeral parlor where Sonny's body is covered, when the undertaker laments ever having gotten involved with the Corleones?
