Season 5 of the sopranos starts filming sunday or monday does anyone have any idea when the 5th season might start ay predictions or anything?

Fall of this year, or early 2004. We can thank our beloved "Don" for this delay. HOPEFULLY, well worth it..

I mean his contract pays him (would have) I think $200k per episode in season 4. Instead HBO gives him $400k per episode for season 4. Now season 5 They offer him $800k (again they don't need to) and he wants $2 Million!! and what they settled on $1Million per episode but now will do a 6 seson as well.
The rest of the cast makes $40k per episode...

I mean did anyone see the last castle?? talk about ego.

It's great that James Gandolfini and HBO resolved their differences. I can't wait till season 5 starts, hopefully there's a sixth season and a movie too.

many think it could actually be a show on network tv. Like edit all the old episodes and run them and do one more season or two on tv but post Tony or w/ only a few appearances by Gandolfini.
Figure as big as it is only 25% of American households have HBO and less around the world...
SO as crazy as it sounds more people have never seen a Sopranos then have. Food for thought.

I talked to Vince Curatola(Johnny Sac) he was at a car dealer ship, along with Drea De Matteo and Steven Schrippa. They were because of some charity thing. Anyway I asked him when is season 5 coming out and he said February of next year!

At the Mohegan Sun Casino in Conn they were there for the Conn car dealers assoc meeting- kinda like a mini convention. I would say it was early November...

Drea had way more tattoos then I thought and they are all real!! even on her hands and wrists.

They were in Michigan on the 22 of March, a few days ago. Drea does have alot of tattoos! she had them on her fingers and stuff, it was awesome!

The local newspaper said this week it wouldn't air until Sept. 2004. That was 2004, not 2003. I HOPE they are wrong.

I guess Jimmy Gandolfini got his. I saw Schirippa at San Gennaro last year. That is one big monkey! He was a big hoops player in school, and is a genuine guy. Believe it or not I blew it. In 1992 I was brainstorming an idea for a tv show for networks based on the NY families. Being that I am not a screenwriter I never pursued it. Thank you HBO,thank you David Chase.
