I am just finally getting around to watching the third season and on the second epidsode where it shows Livia, the computer generated face, it kind of gave me the creeps. Did anyone else get this weird feeling when you saw the computer generated livia with the dialogue from old episodes.

I buy you out. You don't buy me out.

yes Don Mataya, i agree. i didn't realise it was computer generated until i noticed that the camera didn't go on them at the same time and when it DID go on livia the lighting looked funny. i thought they did a good job at wrapping this story up.

TBH i thought it was horribly done, i would of prefered perhaps one computer generated shot, at most 2 shots, spaced apart well enough so u couldnt tell the difference, the rest just dialogue from behind her chair or something, they messed it up by constantly going back to her shots from previous filmings where u can clearly see big differences such as her hair.

Tony Soprano : You're looking good. Looking better.
Junior Soprano: Tony, if you're gonna lie to me, tell me there's a broad in the car waiting to tongue my balls.
Tony Soprano : Hey, you want that, it's a phone call away.

I thought they did the best they could under the circumstances. They had to "bring her back to life" for one more episode, and they managed to do it.

I thought it was downright cheesy. In my humble opinion, I think they could've included her in the episode without the terrible effects, either showed the back of some extra's head and dubbed in her voice, or implied her presence through other means. It wasn't detrimental to the show, of course, but I found it annoying.

I agree with Snake, they spent alot of money making the whole thing, and doesn't even look like her head is on her own body. It's good they didn't use CGI Soprano for more than one show. It's kinda dissapointing the way they ended it, but I guess it was one of the few ways they could of really ended it, even if the whole storyline left so abruptly.

Disappointing and stupid. A terrible waste of money. But there was really no way around it logically.

The Don Ferro

And you liar, teller of tall tales: you trample all the Lord's commandments underfoot, you murder, steal, commit adultery, and afterward break into tears, beat your breast, take down your guitar and turn sin into a song. Shrewd devil, you know very well that God pardons singers no matter what they do, because he can simply die for a song.
