Great, let me repeat that, Gre...
If you remember about a month or so ago, someone (I forget his name) posted a message about his 16mm copy of a Godfather program from 1971 whioch included interviews with the cast and crew? And he also offered to make VHS copies for people? Well according to the DVD extras, theres a 'The Godfather 1971 Featurette'. If this the same program, or a different one? As the only other 'making of' i've heard of is the 'Look Inside' which comes with The Trilogy...

That's a good point - I don't know what the "featurette" is exactly, so hopefully it will be just that! I think I'll watch that first...

Make sure to get a big one, noledge -- these are widescreen! 36" is nice grin

Hehe...

I've actually got quite a large one at the moment, a nice 26" Panasonic. But it makes a really annoying 'whiring' noise and one of the surround speakers doesn't work...

I think if I got a bigger one, i'd go blind, as I keep my TV's at the foor of my bed! About 5 feet away from my head...

I'll probably get a 28" Sony Wega Widescreen beast with 5 scart sockets, Dolby Surround and loads of other Boll**ks that no one understands...

I was looking at the Wega's when I was shopping around for my TV, but found them to be way overpriced (Sony, go figure) and didn't really look that great for the money.

My 36" Toshiba looked much better, and was hundreds less. It also has Component Video inputs for the best picture quality from DVD (step above S-Video), and I recommend that - awesome crisp quality video if your DVD player has Component Video outputs!

Don't forget the fiber-optic sound connection, and Dolby Digital and 5.1 surround sound! grin

Oh, I can't wait 'til October 9th...!

No,you're thinking of The Godfather Family: A Look Inside, which I think will also be included with the DVD, but I'm not positive.

Will there be an extra showing screen tests for Brando, Pacino, etc.? If so, what is it called?

I'm the person who has the 1971 featurette on Super 8. I looked at the DVD today, and yes, it's the same film. I'm happy that everyone can now see this cool piece.

Turi, it's United Parcel Service.
That's what's generally used for delivery of packages or bulk items here in the USA.

In any event - back to the topic - this featurette was great! There were a few scenes/outtakes I've never seen before!
