once again, Buffalo, NY!
After watching Season Four's premiere, I have a question. We saw the meeting Tony and Silvio had with the captains.
We saw:
Ralphie Cifaretto, capo of the Aprile crew.
Albert Barese, acting capo of the Barese crew. (Larry Boy Barese has been in prison since Season One)
Raymond Curto, capo of the Curto crew.
Absent at that meeting was Paulie, the capo of the Soprano crew.
We also saw someone else, an older guy with gray hair who was sitting to the right of Curto, and I don't know who that was.
Who is he? Is he the capo of the crew that was headed by Jimmy Altieri, who was executed in Season One? After Jimmy was executed, we never heard a thing about the Altieri crew in Season Two or Three.
Anyone have any info?

Is that the Parisi twin that's still alive? Isn't he the one that the Feds flipped last season?

Hi,
No Raymond Curto was flipped. That other guy at the end is a mystery to me as well.

The new capo is Carlo Gervasi, capo of the Altieri crew.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been a lurker for a year or so. That mystery capo has me baffled, and this board is definitely the most knowledgable when it comes to mob movies and shows.

I saw the name Carlo Gervasi in the credits and figured that had to be him, and that the only possibilities were that he was either an Altieri captain, or a representative for the absent Paulie Walnuts.

I wonder why there was never any mention of what happened with the Altieri crew when Jimmy was killed in Season One?

Murf was a Capo?

Carlo took over for Vito so he should be in the Aprile crew.

No, Carlo was given Vito's construction rackets, not his crew. Murf was acting Capo of Junior's crew in season 3, by season 4 Junior realized Murf was incompetant and had Bobby replac him.

Are you sure about that? In the final season, didn't Tony ask Paulie to take over that crew and Paulie recited all the bad things that had happened to the crew's capos including to Carlo?

I saw a repeat of that episode and you are right. Carlo only took over Vito's construction.

Olivant, I'm always right!

That being said, Adriana is dead
