Michael lives. Vincent is still his new right hand man, he is now a Corleone. This GF IV concept expands the movies in the direction they were written and capitalizes on GF III's strong qualities.

Now it would be cool if they did GF4 explaining some of the events between 1 & 2, 2 & 3, but that'll never happen and probably wouldn't be compelling for anyone except Godfather nerds like us! "Meet my nephew! How's business?"
