I hope they were successful. After a search for something a little more recent than 2002 I came up empty handed. Or do they still exist? What were they thinking?

What do you mean? It did involve them. They were disrespecting the mafia because of what they have done to them. Well good for them. There is nothing to respect of the mafia.

Well, La Cosa Nostra is the organized crime in North America which could include, but is not limited to Sicilians, Neapolitans, and Calabrians, among other possible Italian Decendants.

Mafia on the other hand is the organized crime organization in Sicily and it only involved Sicilian Decendants.
