Ok I live in a pretty small town in Kansas. Its like two hours from anything fun. But recently a new Italian restaurant has opened up and ever since wierd things are happening. Forst, they get caught selling drugs out of the back, ad just yesterday someone shot at a car, and illegidly it was over a large debt. But do you think the mib would waste its time in my town. i mean the restaurant doesnt really fit the area, its too expensive for most of us, and you have to have resevations thaere ios a doorman. up unitl then the nicest restaurant was subway.

I do not think so, it is probally just common street "thugs" just disputing over "drug money". Dont give it a second thought. 9 times out of 10 these situations in tiny rural towns are not organized crime.

My two cents.

Don Ferro's probably right. But I read an article in the NYTimes Magazine about two years ago about how the Crips and Bloods gangs from LA and Chicago were sending people to rural areas to establish drug business. You've probably read that the biggest increase in illegal drug use is occuring in rural America.

Wow, I really didn't think the crips and bloods were really that big. I live in flint and there are alot of people that are involved with one of those gangs. I really want to move, its getting to be a bad part of town. The only reason my Im still living there is because of my family.

Leonard: I dont know. See, I have this condition.
Teddy: Well, I hope its not as serious as his, 'cos this guy's dead.

Yeah, out of all of the states Kansas is the number one producer of meth, and theyve found like three meth labs within the last year or so in my town alone. people were like making it in their garages and crap.

Indeterminate, depends on what city in Kansas you're from. Sounds like some toy shit going on in your neck of the woods. Come on up to KC one weekend, we got a Mafia Tour Bus here. It'll fill you in on the history and not so past history of the Mafia in Kansas City. (ie KCKS & KCMO)

First off, I heard Iowa was the biggest producer of meth.

second, I think it is very possible for the mob to be setting up shop in a Kansas town. It could just be some wanna bes who took the Godfather to heart a little more then they should have. But, I think it would be smart for an organized crime "gang" to set up in some rural small town areas. My advise, just dont try to find out for yourself.
