i just read in a national newsapaper in a small column about steven segal having to testify against the gambino family, who tried to sting him for more than £100,000 for every film he makes. i thought maybe americans get better access to this kind of news. any truth? will he have to go under the witness protection program? i hope this means he makes no more films!!

Well if Steven Segal "mysteriously dissappears" we all know what happened. He said himself that he can't go into witness protection because of his occupation. My personal opinion, I think the Gambino Family is doing alright, they're just trying to stay out of the spotlight. Until this popped up with Steven Segal, there hasn't been anything reported since John Gotti's death and the deal with the Gold Clubs down in Florida before that. With the mafia being recognized by the help of the media its harder to stay seclusive these days.

Do you know how well protected a MOVIE STAR is? He's got money. If he gets touched, every alarm in the geverment will go off. The Goverment wants Mafiosi and will watch him like a hawk. Perhaps even use him as bait to draw out a potential hit.
It would be unwise of the Gambino's to take action.
