Hi, & attention US Residents:
A few threads back (Kennedy's & the Mafia) I mentioned an excellent A&E Biography on The Rat Pack. I found by accident that it's being rerun this week! Part I was aired last night, and covered the individual careers of Sammy, Dean, Frank & Peter Lawford, up to about the late 1950's. Tonight in Part II will be details regarding the 1960 election and what part Frank (and the mafia) had in JFK's campaign & ultimate victory. Even without that, it's a real interesting story, if anyone cares to watch!!
Enjoy...

Somebody tell me - is it generally accepted that the 1960 US election was rigged? Something about JFK's father rigging the results for one of the states, which one?

This might sound like a lie, but it isn't, my father's uncle, Jerry Candarelli, he used to hang out with the rat pack in Casinos and shit. Thats a coincidence.

Its been generally accepted that the state of Illinois, through the Chicago political machine headed by Mayor Richard Daley "stole" the election for Kennedy, assuring his presidency.
