Some Chiefs fans who attended bitter cold playoff game now require amputations: hospitalhttps://fox8.com/news/some-chiefs-f...f-game-now-require-amputations-hospital/KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — Multiple people who experienced frostbite while attending a bitter cold Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January may require amputations, a hospital official told Nexstar’s WDAF this week. Garcia told WDAF in January she had seen dozens of frostbite patients as the state saw multiple days of frigid cold temperatures. Many of those were Chiefs fans who attended the playoff game against the Dolphins. “The patients who had their frostbite injuries along with the Chiefs game, they are just getting to the point now we are starting to discuss their amputations that might be necessary,” Garcia said Tuesday, explaining that 70% of the patients referred for frostbite injuries suffered earlier this year are now being advised to schedule amputations. The estimated 30% lucky enough to avoid amputation after undergoing treatment the past few weeks in hyperbaric oxygen tanks will have plenty of reminders of their frostbite injuries. “It’s still a lifelong process. They’ll have sensitivity and pain for the rest of their lives and always will be more susceptible to frostbite in the future. So we are also educating them to make sure they stay warm for the years and months to come,” Garcia said.

This is called Gaslighting: https://x.com/jonmachota/status/1839451830839095475Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on the @1053thefan pregame show when asked about their early season struggles: "By any measurement, except the last two ball games, we've got top quality players. And I know we've got arguably one of the best players in the league in our quarterback. ... We got the personnel. We got the talent. And I really believe in our coaching staff."

In other news, owners on Tuesday: Approved a proposal from the Philadelphia Eagles to give each team a guaranteed possession in overtime during the regular season. Previously, a team with the first possession could win in overtime if it scored a touchdown. This rule change aligns the philosophy with a previous change to postseason overtime, except regular-season overtime will remain limited to 10 minutes. Endorsed the competition committee's request to add additional specifics on prohibited actions that would violate the league's unsportsmanlike rules, including: a throat slash gesture, simulating firing or brandishing a gun, or displaying the "nose wipe" gesture. Approved a proposal from the Pittsburgh Steelers to have one video or phone call with no more than five prospective free agents during the negotiation period before the formal opening of free agency. Previously, teams could speak only with the agent of the player during that period. Approved a request from multiple teams to allow team staff members to prepare K-balls, footballs used only on special teams, before game day. Approved proposals by the competition committee allowing two players to be designated to return from injured reserve if they are placed on IR when rosters are reduced to 53, granting playoff teams two more return-from-IR spots in the postseason and designating point differential as the third tiebreaker on waiver claims. Tabled for further discussion the Detroit Lions' proposal to make playoff seeding based on regular-season records as the guiding principle, rather than division championships. Did not approve Detroit's proposal to eliminate an automatic first down as a penalty imposed for defensive holding and illegal contact. Announced the use of Sony's Hawk-Eye technology to measure first downs in 2025. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44490561/sources-nfl-owners-ok-kickoff-ot-replay-rule-changes

“The only reason you know about the existence of a video recording is that Mr. Sharpe specifically referenced it in his bullshit statement,” Buzbee told TMZ Sports. “The contents of the video were shared during the mediation process with Sharpe’s attorneys. Again, Sharpe and his team disclosed that, not us. Sharpe himself was offered on more than one occasion to view it himself. He declined. We’ve never made any claims or threats about it and won’t do so. “And no,” he added, “we won’t be ‘releasing’ the video as it is key evidence in the case and will be treated as such.”Sharpe, who mentioned the video in his own video statement days after the rape allegations were made public, claims the footage is “a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and play into every stereotype you could possibly imagine.” Sharpe claims the unedited video is 10 minutes long and asked Buzbee to air the full, unedited version. https://www.breitbart.com/sports/20...-will-not-release-key-evidence-sex-tape/
