I would say that he is a rare case. To me Chin was a criminal mastermind, he tricked several psychiatrist (hopefully, thats not a spoiler). some might say they were paid off, but I believe he had to convince at least one he was crazy and that would make him a criminal genius. He was Genovese all the way. It was worth it.
