I don't think there's any really Italian neighborhoods to speak of anymore. So Italian Americans in general live spread out among other (mostly white) ethnic groups. A lot of people from Brooklyn moved to suburban housing developments in Manalapan NJ area, I would think a few of them are probably connected.
