I just saw on a private Facebook group that Enrico Ponzo was found dead in his cell last New Year's Eve. He was about five years into a 30 year sentence.

Amongst other things, including hiding out as an Idaho farmer for ten years, he was allegedly part of the hit team that tried to whack Cadillac Frank at the IHOP back in the 90's.

This is strange, I googled his name and not one single reference about his death

If you look him up in here, it will say he died on 12/31/19. Based on Facebook, he may have been dealing with a serious illness as well.

Reading about Ponzo brings me back to the Romano's. Is Mike Romano Sr. involved at all since he got out? What happened to his son was a tragedy, mistaken identity most likely. Two innocent people in one night with Officer Charbonnier as well. What became of Anthony Bianchi as well?

Yep I think he found out shortly before he went into the slammer and he went quick. I wonder if there were any other gangsters that had it? Anyone know?

That's some rough shit though for real. Former Bama and Philly great Kevin Turner had it (even though later they think it wasn't ALS and due to his repeated blows to the head) and now another former player Kerry Goode has it too :-( We had about 4 players from the Goode family play for Bama, all from a small high school in Northern Bama.
