To be truthful, where I'm from we don't even care. Most don't even know about it and I certainly didn't until Pat posted this article.

Yeah it's a true story and the Mirror is known for its political stance leaning to the left. For example it was heavily against the war in Iraq and then when all the beating of prisoner scandels came out they were among the first to publish photos of the abuse. The photos were then later found to be fake and I think the editor then was put under intense pressure to quit and so he resigned. The New York media is known to be more liberal, maybe it can be comparable to one of those papers.
