Firstly I'll refrain from the anti monarchy debate, though it is something I'm strongly passionate about, I just don't have the energy for it right now. And this thread isn't about that anyway.

Secondly, Pat, I don't know if you came across the Sunday Mirror by chance or you a regular reader but for futures reference it is one of our papers that veers to the left. I'm definitely not a fan but it may interest you.

Thirdly, I am one of the rare English supporters of Bush and I hate anything the monarchy does to improve their public relations, but Bush not allowing them into their home based on Camilla's divorce is just stupid. I hate people judgemental just because of religion. I bet Bush has had much worse people in the eyes of the church at the Whitehouse than a divorcee.

Finally I think Camilla's first marriage was annulled and not ending in divorce. Small technicality I know, but if the Pope blesses it I think Bush has a problem.
