Honestly, they take up no more time than watching any other show on TV.

But then again, I am the one up until ungodly hours of the night watching the west coast baseball teams play. I absolutely cannot go to bed until the last game has been completed - especially when the Dodgers are televised. Then after about an hour recrap on SportsCenter - it is about midnight my time when I go to bed. Talk about alot of time wasted with the TV on if one just SAT in front of the TV.

Luckily, I can multi-task ...if you know what I mean...
