I watched that ABC special last night I wasn't paying that much attention to it cuz I was working on my sons graduation announcements. It does make me wonder who is telling the truth though. Is Corey trying to get his 15 minutes cuz he has a record deal? Or is Paula trying to save her butt? Time will tell I guess. :rolleyes:

I fell asleep during the special, so I only saw part of it. However, you have to admit that the phone records showing 90 minute calls to her number are pretty compelling evidence that, at the very least, show that she had contact with him outside the studio. As a judge, I would assume that, even if there was no sexual aspect to their relationship, spending hours on the phone with a contestant would be considered inappropriate.

LDV - How true is that? Did you ever see someone so repulsive? He made Constantine look clean! Yuk. He also had that bad grammar thing going. Was he capable of even one complete sentence? I felt like I needed to take a shower to wash the ooze off. Forget about losing respect for Paula because she may have used her influence inappropriately, but because her choice made my stomach turn.

I was rather disappointed that it was the only story. I thought that they would also show other Idol-related things, like the voting, what happened to Mario, are the judges comments really meant to steer votes towards one contestant over another, criminal records of the contestants, etc.

It has got to be sooo embarrassing for Paula right now. Did she not think this 22 year old guy wasn't going to brag to all his friends? He even told his parents! Did she forget she was a celebrity?

I think the silent favorite on this thing is Ian. Tom is way too out-front while Tom and Ian are too strong to get beat out by one of the girls in their alliance.

Also, I'd really HATE to see old pals Tana and Craig suddenly have to become do or die rivals for the top spot.

Personally, I've begun to believe there's a certain formula here, and that the last two standing are a Book Smarts vs. Street Smarts showdown.

That would mean Kendra stays. She's the only booksmarts left.

Goodbye Gregg! Why aren't these people seeing this coming? Duhhhhh. The nanny girl (who is the default hottie with Steph gone) was completely flummoxed.

Based on the clips for next week's episode, Ian needs to grow a pair.

I can't tell you how glad I am that Gregg is gone and that little lovefest is split up. I was really wonderin' what Katie would do. My sadistic mind was kind of hoping they would tie, just so we could see how that would pan out with the stones. That would have been way dangerous though...

I too am puzzled about Ian's behavior next week! Is he scurred because Katie threatened to eat him??

I think this final task is pure genius. What better way to prove leadership capability? I was sorry to see the show end last night, I was so into it.

Though Kendra appears to be very smart and confident, to me those traits are overshadowed by her immaturity. The glitter eyeshadow and goth nail polish during the corporate interviews sealed it for me. I think Kendra will be great in a few years. I really do believe she will go far.

That said I hope Tana wins. Maybe I am biased being a more mature woman myself but I tend to see Kendra saying alot of "I" things and Tana talking "we" (even if she IS referring to the "Three Stooges"! ).

The editing of this show is sure making the task look like a mess right now. I can't wait to see what happens next week!

If Katie was smart, she should have NEVER thought about jumping ship. It appears that she has Ian in her pocket and Ian and Tom have each other's back so there's three right there. Next week, either Caryn or default Hottie is gone. The one remaining goes the next week.

If it goes any other way, I'll be surprised. There is a tremendous opportunity for the girls to gang up on the guys, but that's impeded by two things - 1) there isn't enough trust among the women and 2) Ian and Tom will probably win every single immunity from here on out.

Big difference, Tana seems determined to make it work with what she's got, and Kendra is already showing signs of blaming her team in case anything goes wrong. First big mistake was in not being present for the first 10 minutes of that meeting, then getting pissed at Danny who, inept as he was had no choice but to get going with the presentation while everyone waited for the Project Manager.

I've learned that the editing can be very deceiving. However, unless something goes INCREDIBLY wrong or a massive mistake is made...Tana WILL be the next Apprentice.
