Silhouettes by Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons. Originally from The Rays but I've always liked this version more.

That was a good cover of a far superior Italian song, TB (in my opinion, of course). Umberto Tozzi's version is fantastic.

When I was just a young buck it got a lot of play in the local dance clubs here in the Bronx (yeah, I know, the whole Guido thing WAS unfortunate lol).

Anyway, I know you're a huge opera fan so the song being performed in Italian shouldn't be a drawback.

My kids and I are listening to Wagner, "Rise of the Valkyries" while they are having a nerf gun battle inside the house. I feel like I'm in a war zone there are nerf bullets everywhere and they are throwing nerf balls which are the grenades lol

Thanks for the Tozzi version, PB. smile Also have "Gloria" by the Cadillacs and by Shadows of Knight (attention: TIS).

Now listening to "Pace, Pace," by Renata Tebaldi, from the opera, "La Forza del Destino," whose plot is beyond convoluted but whose soprano arias are Verdi's best.

Stephen Stills does a real good cover of it too on his Carry On box set.

"Dear Mr. Fantasy" is Traffic's signature song. I always preferred "Feeling Alright?"

Chris Cornell - Billie Jean. I actually prefer this to Michael Jackson's original. The tone is more appropriate for the subject matter...and maybe because I'm also a huge Chris Cornell/Soundgarden/Audioslave fan!
