How were Cosimo and Cosimo related? In January "The Quail", now 68, was acquitted and released after 26 years in prison. The murdered Cosimo Ernesto Commisso, born 1984, may not be related at all to Cosimo Commisso of Italy, alias u quagghia, born 1950. The two, if related, could only be related through Ernesto's father's side of the family, as Ernesto's mother's maiden name is Parr (we can infer from the wording of a number of obituaries of Commissos that Ernesto's parents were divorced a number of years ago). Claudio Commisso -- Ernesto's father -- is a first cousin to brothers Cosimo, Remo, and Michael of the GTA Siderno Group. Ernesto's paternal grandfather, Ernesto Commisso (d. 2010), was brother to the mother of the three Commisso brothers, Emilia Commisso (her maiden name was also Commisso). The Operazione Bene Comune-Recupero reports indicate that Remo Commisso is a cousin to u quagghia but does not indicate the degree of cousinhood. None of Emilia Commisso's siblings are named Francesco, which is the name of u quagghia's father, so this means that Claudio Commisso and first cousins Cosimo, Remo, and Michael are not first cousins to u quagghia via siblings Ernesto and Emila respectively. (Other degrees of cousinhood are certainly possible.) So there are a number of other possibilities that would establish that Claudio Commisso and/or first cousins Cosimo, Remo, and Michael are first cousins to u quagghia: 1. Claudio Commisso could be related to u quagghia via his mother, Teresa Commisso (I don't know her maiden name). 2. Cosimo, Remo, and Michael are related to u quagghia via the brothers' murdered father, Girolamo (killed in the late 1940s). Again, other degrees of cousinhood are certainly possible.

Thanks antimafia and do you know if the three brothers are related to giuseppe commisso aka u mastru? Cousins probably.

TO PUNISH THE BROTHER Vibonese restaurateur killed in Toronto, in the background the shadow of 'ndrangheta's revenge by Arcangelo Badolati - 30 August 2019 'ndrangheta, murder Caputo, restaurateur killed in Toronto, Johnnie Raposo, Paolo Caputo, Catanzaro, Calabria, Chronicle The shadow of a transversal revenge . Paolo Caputo, capistranese and owner of the restaurant "Domani" in Toronto, was assassinated on August 16th last: a gunman armed with a gun shot him in front of dozens of witnesses and then escaped. The victim had lived in Ontario for decades. The younger brother, Martino, was nevertheless condemned because he was jointly responsible for the murder of another Italian-Canadian, Johnnie "Maserati" Raposo, riddled with bullets in a "Little Italy" bar in 2012. The ambush of Raposo could be the cause of Caputo's death? None of the investigators feels to exclude him. The presence of the 'ndrangheta in Canada was, in fact, confirmed by an innovative sentence according to which the Calabrian mafia is fully operating in North America. The complete article in the Gazzetta del Sud on newsstands. https://catanzaro.gazzettadelsud.it...ta-a7c8a521-0968-4408-a1fd-944b638fc559/
