I'm REALLY glad they gave it to him and was also happy to see Olivia Coleman take home Best Actress. Other than that I was pretty disappointed. I was pulling for BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and THE FAVOURITE (especially Melissa McCarthy and Richard E. Grant for CAN YOU EVER FORGIVE ME?) and those films hardly took home anything. Yes, BOHEMIAN took home some sound awards, but I'm talking more about the major awards.

Luke Perry (of BEVERLY HILLS 90210 fame) died today at the age of 52 due to a stroke. Wow, so sad and young!

Horrible, too young. Stroke, I wonder if he had been partying to hard or was sickly.

Great flick! I can only imagine it's over indulgence to answer your question. Not being able to have for so long before finally being able to, people go all out when they'res no limits. But unfortunately, we lose too many of the greats because of it (Freddie, Hendrix, Cobain, Morrison, etc).

Love Story and The Graduate were two blockbuster films around 1970. They starred Katherine Ross and Ali McGraw who were two beauties. It's hard to believe that they both are about 80 now. Madonne!

They are rebooting Saw after a pitch by Chris Rock of all people.

I agree. I scratched my head when I read the article about it. I liked Saw back in the day. It was one of the few horror films that actually had a sensible twist at the end that you may or may not have seen coming. But to reboot the franchise (after they just released a new film into the series in 2017)...I just don't get it.

Maybe I had a weakness 4 an early young Margot Kidder....I have a 1974 issue of PLAYBOY that has a wonderful pictorial of her that I still cherish in the wombs of my secret library..along w/ old issues of Valerie Perinne , Barbara Carrara....etc...

I did not know Margot kidder committed Suicide.

The evil Superman. I really enjoyed this opposite end of the spectrum take on the tale of Superman. Crashing in Kansas from another world, Brandon Breyer, uses his powers not for good, but rather for bad intentions, once he realizes his potential and gets his first taste of killing. I typically don't like child/teenage actors as I find them annoying more often than not. However, Jackson A. Dunn who stars as Brandon, does a tremendous job with his characters arc from start to finish. This probably won't make much noise at the box office, but if you're in to horror or superhero films, I recommend this! 7.5/10

I wasn't a huge fan of it. I never saw the original or read the book but glad you enjoyed it!
