Serp, I believe the Second Amendment is there so you could protect home and family, or hunt for food, not to overturn an election that didn't go your way or shoot/threaten political opponents.
Regarding Cali and his niece, unless the niece gives her side of the story, we don't know what happened between them. Maybe she didn't want to see that guy anymore. He seems like a nut case, perhaps he was stalking her? Maybe she asked her uncle to speak to him? We will never know unless more information comes out.

I wanna know what the full reason was. What a pointless death. All the other threats he must of had and some young idiot just casually whacks him. Don’t condone murder but this kid needs seeing to as his lack of regard for human life is shocking.
me too i also want the full details about this murder this all thing is crazy... like I've said - it's the weirdest hit in history of the mafia (a mafia member who gets killed)
He was turning things upside down because he didn't like the status quo.

Hey Moe, did you ever stop to think that Cali knew this kid was a psycho, and that's why he didn't want him near his niece?? Maybe she would have broken up with him and he turned the gun on her?
Capeci wrote about calis death today. He was official underboss according to his sources he cant confirm if dom cefulo is official boss or still acting boss for peter gotti. Hes been the head since 2011
According to felice from other board, he is poster with 100% reliable info on Gambinos, he sad Cali was consigliere, Mannino was underboss and Cefalu boss

Without a Doubt..I agree. We're outsiders and see this guy is a wacko. He would've killed someone else.
"In reality, many suburban dads and local gym members and various weekend-warrior athletes could probably kick the crap out of many mob guys, but they wouldn't do that because of the threat of retaliation. I don't think John Gotti's reputation and clout were built and sustained because of any great physical prowess that Gotti possessed (although we do hear stories of how Gotti was supposedly good with his fists -- but how much of that is urban legend?) I doubt Carlo Gambino could fight his way out of a wet paper bag, but MANY people feared and respected him -- and for good reason."
In reality they had others that would die and do this for them..

The 2nd Amendment is there so private militia's can be as well armed as the military to oppose tirany. Theoretically, the founders essentially believe that private citizens should be able to own fighter jets and tanks. Now, that isn't how it has been applied since the inventions that reshaped modern warfare (automatic guns, tanks, aircrafts, missles). The founders never envisioned as strong a central government that currently exists, with a massive military. I'm not saying the 2nd amendment should be enacted in how it was meant to be created. But, it wasn't primarily about hunting or protecting your property from other individuals within the states, it was about militia's being formed to oppose a tyrannical government such as England's rule over the colonies.
Woah, I never made the connection between Lorenzo Mannino and the Inzerillo, Spatola, Mannino, Castellano, Gambino, and Di Maggio families of Palermo. He's related to those Manninos right?
