I was curious to learn what happened to the real people portrayed in Narcos 4.

Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo aka El Padrino,born 1946 arrested in april 1989 and sentenced to 37 y On 18 December 2014, federal authorities approved his request to transfer him to a medium-security prison in Guadalajara (State of Jalisco) due to his declining health.

Rafael Caro Quintero born 1952 was arrested in Costarica in april 1985 and sentenced to 40 y was release in 2013 and went on the lam; in a 2016 interview to the Proceso magazine he said that both El chapo guzman and el mayo zambada offered him to return to drug traffick Quintero said that all he want his the peace

Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo b.1942 aka Don Neto get 40 y in 1985 for the kiki camarena murder,he was transferred from prison to house arrest in July 2016 because of his health and advanced age,with about nine years remaining on his 40-year sentence.

Juan José Esparragoza Moreno b.1949 aka El Azul (not sure if dead or not) is a former DFS officer and one of founder of Guadalajara cartel after its disintegration went to juarez cartel and after to the sinaloa cartel.

Pablo Acosta Villarreal aka El Zorro de Ojinaga ("The Ojinaga Fox") killed in 1987 during a raid of mexican federal police;

Rubén Zuno Arce (1930-2012) was the politician whick Gallardo try to made a deal for smuggle colobian cocaine.Mr. Zuno had connections high in the Mexican government and was the brother-in-law of Luis Echeverría Álvarez, who was president from 1970 to 1976. In 1992, he was convicted of kidnapping and conspiracy in the death of Enrique Camarena and sentenced to 2 life terms.

Alberto Siclia Falcon born 1945 in Cuba any idea if he still alive?

One thing I've always loved about the Narcos series is the Spanish parts are in Spanish and the English parts are in English. I feel it adds more authenticity to it.

brilliant show. Glad they didnt end it with the Cali cartel season.
