Yes he was a boxer in his teens, he was in the Crazy Joe Gallo crew but was very close to Larry Gallo. After Joe Gallo was killed he and Albert ‘Kid Blast’ Gallo we’re absorbed into the Genovese borgata. He was close to Chin through boxing. He flew low under the radar and never caught any pinches that I know of and was supposedly highly respected. Some of my info came from DeMatteos book ‘growing up mafia’
I have a photo on my phone of Punchy and Larry Gallo as kids taken in a photobooth together. I’m not really tech savvy and don’t know how to shrink it to 200kb maybe someone else can find it on Pinterest and repost for us. Just query Larry Gallo.

that pic is quite easy to find and I'm sure it's probably already been posted in this thread.

how was the book? I've thought about reading it.

I just finished that book Gio....really good.

Great pic, Michael.

Lucchese and Dragna were in-laws, weren't they? There's not even too many pics of Tommy Brown. That's one of the few I've ever seen.

I'm not sure exactly of the relationship. I've read a couple of different places that they were cousins but I'm not certain of that.

Woah, nice one thanks Michael_Giovanni. Like Oaks said, there's not too many Luchese pics around. Not much of LaSalle either. I don't think Luchese was related to the Dragnas, but they were close. Luchese testified that Dragna was "his intimate for many years and he saw him 'almost every day on the coast'". From this article:

I'd read somewhere that Lucchese was the first NY boss to give Dragna the okay to take out Cohen. Beforehand, all the Jewish gangsters in Hollywood had been protected by the Commission. Giancana and Roselli were certainly instigators in that move, too.

A pinterest account claims this is Tommy Brown. Doesn't look like him though, does it?

That picture is of Louis Cirillo who was a major drug dealer for the Lucchese's. Cops found over a million dollars buried in his bronx back yard.

He probably just looks like Tom Arnold because he was always around cocaine.

its funny you read the way sammy bull talk about jimmy brown . like he was a bum pussy and the more i read and see in picture above he was a well well dressed mob guy and was so well versed in the rackets he was the acting underboss for carlo gambino in the early 70tys when neil d was locked up on tax stuff. sammy really had a dislike for him and flatout disprespects him more then even gotti in his book. only thing i can think happend thats public is jimmy brown told gotti on those tapes samyys trying to get in the garbage racket

First Gravano implicates Jimmy Brown in a murder, then he says in his book that if a black guy walked in and told Jimmy Brown that he killed Castellano and was the new boss Jimmy would say "Gee, great. What do you want me to do boss?" I don't know which is worse! lol

Must be jealousy over the garbage rackets. I think Gravano's guy Francolino took over after Jimmy Brown.

You're welcome guys. Glad to share.

Steven Mazzone is the spitting image of Jerry "The King" Lawler in that picture.

Bugsy Siegel looking good.
