I didn’t really like the book much, author probably is or was a knockaround and supposedly was close to Albert Gallo. I respect the author because he stayed old school and didn’t air any laundry but seemed like he had a hard on for Albert Gallo and Punchy for giving up the Gallo war and getting made into the ‘West Side Crew’ he mentioned Bobby Borriello I learned they are from same south Brooklyn hood.
If anyone here is from the d Gowanus area n red hook maybe they know who all the characters are but I never heard of most of them but I was raised in the city so that place was out of bounds to me.
