Don't know if anyone is still reading this thread but I saw something interesting on pinterest. Someone posted a photo of a Genovese soldier named Lorenzo "Chappie" Brescia and said he was a suspect in Anastasia's murder. I know who Brescia was but never heard of him being involved in any connection to Anastasia'a murder. Brescia was an old time Genovese member who goes back to the days of Luciano.
No he was not involved. The shooters were Stephen Grammauta and Joe Cahill. On Rava the killers were Gambino family Florida acting capo Thomas Altamura and crew soldier Joe Indelicato at a funeral parlor and his body was dumped in the Atlantic Ocean. NY 3864-C-TE.
