jerry brought money to ray in providence because when they started the federals commssions(1955ish) looking into the mafia that guy lombardo or buccola wanted all gambling shut down. so jerry went to providence with a bag of money and promised ray alot more to come if ray would ok him to run the gambling. and he ran with it. him and his brothers all got made after that. jerry was in ww2 so i doubt he was a big pussy he seen a opening and took it he was rewarded with his button. that thing about him buying abutton was a myth. he was a brain with numbers. jerry anguilo took a big rish going over other mobster heads to the boss but he made millions on his chance.
