No one would be talking about him if Trump did not pardon him. He could have just ignored it and not pardoned him at all and no one would have known any better. So you're telling me that he's such a racist, that he's willing to pardon a black boxer who's been dead for 70 years, that no one's talking about prior to his pardoning? Sounds like he's really got it out for the blacks there.

There were slave owners who did favors for black slaves all of the time. They allowed some to sleep in the house. Some were treated as members of the family. Of course, if the slave tried to leave, he would get his head blown off.

So, please, explain to me how Trump pardoning a black person who's been dead for decades proves he's not a racist.

Well he did receive the Ellis Island Award in 1986. The Ellis Island Medal of Honor is awarded each year in celebration of “patriotism, tolerance, brotherhood and diversity." And here he is pictured with Muhammad Ali and Rosa Parks after receiving the award. The fact is Trump was never hinted or called a racist until he ran for office.
