Believe its Matt Guglielmetti that runs the show. Cant say much about the family since they’ve gone underground since 2014. All i can say is that matt has done a gr8 job insulating the family from law enforcement. He’s a standup guy two he didn’t flip after an attempt on his life and he did 9 years inside.
so peter limone died the offical boss my guess just a wild guess if he wanted to be and all the old timers in boston were like dinunzio brothers cant be incharge then its vinny ferrara. but the guys wealthy whats the point but peter limone had 25 million what was the point for him to take over for baby shacks in 2009?
and if the older guys like ferrera dont want a part of being boss then its probaly over the guys a boston legend theres pictures of him at whiteys garage when he was only like 32 early 80tys he does like 20 yrs in the feds and calls it a career maybe. limone was locked in shity mass state prisons framed by the fbi i guess he never got a apology but went on to be boss im curious if limone was burning saint cards for all his cell mates from them 30tys . he have the whole state. whatever once bob kraft and his kid get there way illegall gambling is theres maybe tommtorw or 5 yrs. hes so rich......
I presume the Patriarcas have gained a bigger presence in Boston since Bulger's mob was taken down. The Italians had no chance in Boston during Whitey's reign, with his connections at all levels of government.
"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea

Nothing left from Whitey's day except for the Hogan guys in South Boston per a report a few years ago, nothing organized . He runs a Mom&Pop outfit compared to Whitey's superstore. No threat whatsoever, working for scraps.
Losing the sports betting is gonna be a death blow-w/the casino down the block in a year .... they can't even focus on weed-state has that going July 1.......not like it's New York w/the unions..... last lap.

I don't know, I can't see most people going to the casino every time they want to bet. It's impractical.

I agree Nicky, they also can't bet on credit at the casinos like with the mob. George Anastasia is saying the same thing btw..

Another big thing is taxes.
With the major leagues wanting a piece now too, I feel like this will become a mess with too many mouths to feed. At the very least you would probably see lines with more juice on them to make up for it.
New Jersey won't let players bet on their in-state colleges, and I'm sure many states will do the same. You think a guy in Ohio is simply gonna accept not betting on Ohio State come football time? No way.
Wont it be like every sports book in las vegas just a big room tvs all sports n races and the windows to place bets or will there be corner store otb's. Massachusetts will strangle it for years so every poll can get there family member on the sports betting commission 200k a yr for life and all lil cousins will have nice jobs to. Mass will fuck it up.
