This was a devastating blow to music on top of the tragedy in Las Vegas. I didn't realize until reading TP's obituary that his tour just concluded in Hollywood last week.

I loved Full Moon Fever, Wildflowers, and the 1st Traveling Wilburys record. Petty regularly performed versions of the Wilbury's "Tweeter & the Monkey Man" and "Handle with Care." On the latter, his voice meshed perfectly with Dylan's gravely nasal tone.

It's hard to believe that Petty's tour just ended last week in Hollywood and now he's gone. Dylan is in my area next month and I'm thinking I shouldn't miss the opportunity to see him.

Alabama just voted for a democrat Senator because CBS and NBC ignored their own perverts to smear a republican pervert.
