It doesn't happen that the jury will go from one way (hung jury) to swing to guilty just because the judge tells them to keep trying. The Feds did not make a great case with a solid witness.



As long as Rubeo is their "star witness" they'll never get a conviction in this case. I didn't say he'll never get nailed because eventually he will, but I seriously doubt it will be this case.

Hoodlum haha just the superbowl ( won 700) and all star last night . I only laid like $600 to win the 4k, hit Lebron MVP prop at +1200. I saw that and couldnt resist, figured he had the better squad and would be obvious MVP if they won. Bet $250 on that and won a nickle on both the 1st and 2H. Besides that im totally on ice, the urge is gone I barely think about it. I do miss playing poker but im bannned from everywhere in PA I never have the time or energy to make the hour drive to AC. ok in nyc mob trials allie persico, and vinny georgeous both had hung jurys on murder. they were retried and convicted. jr gotti had like 10 trials all hung the gov was flying in prosecutors from all over the place to nail him then finally gave up. but those were murder trials. only recent case i could think of hung jury was joe ligambi and his nephew in philly. scoops licata was aquited but the jury was hung on joe n george. they were never retried. i thought they had uncle joe dead to rites on extorting the joker poker vending machine guy. were they forced him to sell the company for the low. can anyone think of a mob trial that was hung besides murders. they always retry the hits. i wouldnt doubt it if florida indicts him like they did jr gotti. remember he kept getting hung jurys in nyc so they indicted him in florida but his lawyers and the judge sent it to ny again. bet theyll do it to merlino.
