Bullitt - (Yates;1968;USA) - **** An all guts, no glory San Francisco cop becomes determined to find the underworld kingpin that killed the witness in his protection. Everything in this movie is absolutely flawless, from the cinematography, to the music, to the acting. Steve McQueen is brilliant as Frank Bullitt, and everybody else plays their parts to perfection. Add to that an amazingly well done car chase scene, and an unexpected plot twist, and you have yourself an absolute masterpiece.
