http://publicism.info/crime/mafia_1/index.html^^Someone typed up the whole Mafia Son book about Greg Scarpa Jr. It's been a while since I read it but maybe the answers to your questions are in there. Looks like he was made around 1976 or 1977.

One thing that jumped out at me right away was the claim that Greg Scarpa Sr. never became a Capo but was always a soldier with a crew of his own of 50 guys. I've never heard of him never being a Capo. That can't be true could it?

In Deal with the Devil, it explains that he was a capo but wanted to take heat off myself by only identifying as a solider, he was a Persico loyalist or so he pretended to be and hes been around forever one of the most feared and from what I understand an earner. I believe he definitely most likely was a capo and Larry Mazza said he was a capo I belive in his book.

Never heard the Vic story. Someone punched John Gotti and is probably living in freedom today. Like the guy told Edward Norton Jr. in American History X: "You the n*gga in here, aight?!" Unless you was in a mafia heavy prison like Allentown, it rings true.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.
