What I heard was that Carmine Galante was stepping on many toes in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, among them where those that supported Albert Anastasia faction, allegedly Carmine got into some sort of argument with Tony Anastasia, Tommy Rava, and a unidentified Genovese Capo at a club in Brooklyn right before Carmine went to Canada, Dellacroce was the driver for the three men that night. Bill only makes one reference to this in that he was in Arizona at the time this had happened and Joe was furious with Carmine, but never said his last name, only that Joe had a solution and someone with his capabilities was suited up north.
