War of the Worlds *** (1st Time; big screen) 2005, Spielberg, US Machines take over the Earth, while a divorced father of two strives to make it to safety. A prolific piece of filmmaking, with Spielberg's direction as fantastic as it has ever been. Only the final couple of minutes disappoints.
